OUR STORY
Unwined 2020 was created from a need—to slow down, reconnect, and savor life more fully. It began with a return to Tuscany in 2019, a trip that reignited my creativity and reminded me what it feels like to truly be present. That moment of stillness lit the spark for a lifestyle brand rooted in fragrance, wine, and the timeless beauty of Italian living.
At the heart of Unwined 2020 is the pursuit of everyday rituals that bring joy and calm. Lighting a candle. Pouring a glass of wine. Creating space to reflect and breathe. These small moments, inspired by the Italian concept of il dolce far niente—the sweetness of doing nothing—are what I hope to capture in every product I create.
As the brand has grown, so has its visual identity. The year 2020—the year it all began—is now reflected in Roman numerals, MMXX, as a nod to the rustic elegance and old-world charm of Italy. It’s a subtle yet intentional design element that anchors the brand in the timeless aesthetic that continues to inspire everything I do.
Each fragrance is designed to transport you. Each handmade piece is crafted with care. And every scent, bottle, and story is infused with my deep love for Italy—the land, the rhythm, and the peace I’ve always found there.
Now five years in, Unwined 2020 continues to evolve with life’s seasons. From a solo passion project to a brand that’s accompanied me through love, marriage, and a new home, this journey has been one of resilience, reinvention, and heart.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Jennifer Follari Di Iorio, Founder & Chief Artisan
A dreamer, a doer, and a lifelong lover of scent, Jennifer brings over two decades of experience in the fragrance industry—spanning luxury brands like Tom Ford Beauty and Estée Lauder, to leading development at Bath & Body Works, one of the industry's most influential players. Her career began at Givaudan, where she spent 10 years refining her olfactive skills alongside some of the world’s top perfumers.
But it was her deep connection to Italy—and a desire for a slower, more intentional life—that sparked a personal and professional shift. After earning her WSET Level 3 Certification in Wine & Spirits, she began dreaming up a brand that would blend all her passions: fragrance, wine, and the sensory soul of Italy.
Unwined 2020 was born from that vision. What started as a creative outlet has grown into a heartfelt brand rooted in mindfulness, craft, and storytelling. Inspired by her travels, her Italian heritage, and a belief in the healing power of scent, Jennifer creates with purpose and soul.
Today, she lives with her husband in their lovingly restored home in New Jersey, where she continues to pour her heart into each product—guided by the belief that the little things are never little, especially when done with intention.
